Wednesday Nights and GCG’s

We love Wednesday Night! Beginning September 13th at 5:15, the Wednesday Night gathering is a great next step for people and families to connect and grow together. There is something special about sharing a meal and spending time with people who love God; it is a valuable time for all ages – from infants to adults!

Each September, many begin attending the Wednesday Night meal and/or Groups for the first time. We look forward to sharing the evening with you and your family.

Wednesday Night Schedule :

5:15-6:15 PM : Dinner in the Fellowship Hall

6:15-7:30 PM : Children – infants through 6th grade in the children’s unit

6:15-7:30 PM : Adult groups and classes (men’s, women’s, and co-ed)

Adult Groups also meet at various times and locations throughout the week. Take your next step into community by joining a Gospel Community Group!

NEW THIS YEAR: On the fourth Wednesday of the month, all Wednesday night groups and classes will not meet and instead participate in Beyond Our Walls Wednesday. This is a chance for families to engage in meaningful discipleship at home, a chance for small groups to serve together, or many more options! Stay tuned for announcments and ideas. The Beyond Our Walls Wednesday for fall semester are: October 25th, November 22nd, and December 27th.

You can view this year’s class, group, and meeting time options by clicking here.   Sign up and indicate you family’s participation at that link as well.

Discipleship and Outreach Pastor

Tim Pollitz

What is your role at FAC?

Currently, my role is the discipleship and Outreach pastor. In regards to discipleship, I help oversee the small groups and classes that are currently happening within our church body throughout the week. Though not perfect, by God's grace, my heart is to help foster an organic, discipleship pathway where people are growing in the Lord, in the context of an authentic biblical Christian community for Kingdom impact!

Also, to strengthen an Ephesians 4:12 ministry in our local church, whereby believers in Christian community, have identified and are exercising their spiritual gifts in Christ, for the purpose that they can "...equip the saints for the work of ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ." (Ephesians 4:2)

When it comes to outreach, I help oversee the Fall Festival and Live Nativity each year, with an excellent team. In addition, my desire is to continue to provide biblical in-class and hands-on "field" experiences for our church to grow in evangelism, taking faith-filled risks, all the while learning to as they depend upon the Holy Spirit and God's faithfulness.

How long have you been at FAC?

1 year.

What do you love about being a part of the FAC family of faith?

What we stand for. Truth, Love, Jesus, mission, both locally and globally. I also love the people. It's a family on the move, learning to become more like an Acts 1:8 Family! Not just an institution, but a movement of God's people!

Tell us about your family and your interests outside of ministry.

I am married to my beautiful wife, Meredith for almost 13 years. Time flies. Love you honey, forever always! We try to find some "moments together" and grab a date night here or there (Thanks to wonderful parents of ours). We have 4 gifts from God, our kids Raelynn (11), Jonah (9), Nathan (7), Isaiah (almost 2). Our family (kids and me) are very "loud" at dinner time, Feel bad for my wife, on that note. Our family enjoys sports, in particular basketball, football, soccer, running around. Enjoy getting outside, going to the YMCA, riding bikes (if everyone's bikes are working), playing the infamous "Monster" (Dad's form of tag game), watching a family movie on the weekend (popcorn!), walking some trails, having other families over, etc. Truly blessed by God.

What is your previous training, ministry, and mission experience?

Went to Ashland Theological Seminary School (almost received certificate there). Then, I was the Youth for Christ of Miami Valley director for Darke County North schools for 4 1/2 years. From there, God called me to be the youth pastor at CMA church in Greenville, Ohio for a few years. I finished becoming ordained through the Christian and Missionary Alliance. After that, I basically stepped in to be a volunteer "interim pastor/elder" with a fabulous group of men at CMA church in 2021. Then, received the call in Spring of 2022 to come on to Faith Alliance church.

James Lampert

Meet the Team

James Lampert

Student/Missions Pastor

James Lampert

What is your role at FAC?

Student Pastor: I have the privilege to lead the junior high and high school ministries of the Church.  Preaching and teaching God’s Word is my greatest passion. I desire to see every student passionately pursuing Christ and His calling for their lives.

Missions Pastor: I oversee the missions ministry of the church.  I network with Christian and Missionary Alliance International Workers, to see how we can come alongside them to fulfill the Great Commission.  We also partner with E4 Project to serve those in Gabon and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

How long have you been at FAC?

Faith Alliance officially became my home church while I was still in high school in 2007.  In 2013, I began an internship at Faith Alliance that led into working specifically with the junior high ministry. In 2014, I transitioned into the Student Pastor. In 2016, I transitioned into the Missions Pastor as well.

What do you love about being a part of the FAC family of faith?

This is my family.  I came to know the Lord while attending Faith Alliance youth group back in 2005.  Several years later, God has graciously placed me in ministry here at Faith Alliance.  I am eternally grateful for Him and His Church. What drew me to Faith Alliance in my earlier years is their passion for Christ, and the true biblical gospel.  What I love about Faith Alliance is that this love for Christ and His gospel still remains, and always will.

Tell us about your family and your interests outside of ministry.

I married the love of my life, Kristin, on October 10, 2015.  It is awesome to not only journey through life together, but to serve with one another here at Faith Alliance. Outside of ministry, I simply enjoy being with Kristin.  We love traveling when we are able to; preferably to the mountains and to the beaches. I also enjoy sports, specifically football and mma.

What is your previous training, ministry, and mission experience?

I received my Bachelor of Science at Grace College and Seminary in 2013.  I have had the opportunity to serve on a variety of mission trips to Arizona, Philadelphia, Belize, Gabon, Ukraine, and Indonesia.
