Take your next step into community by joining with others who share your goals or stage of life.
Gospel Community Groups are the name we use for groups of people meeting together for Bible-based conversation. Why such a name? Because we believe that the Gospel – or ‘Good News’ that Jesus took our punishment for sin so that we could live with him forever – is not just something we believe once, but that God’s act of forgiveness, mercy, and love affects every moment of our lives. We get to live our lives as a response to God’s love rather than trying to win his favor. And we believe that we can only fully follow Jesus together, in community. Jesus asked us to love one another, forgive one another, and pray for one another – in fact all of the ‘fruit’ that God’s Spirit produces in our lives is demonstrated in how we relate to each other. We meet together because God works in us and through us.
Those are some of the many reasons why so many people at Faith Alliance meet together. Many Gospel Community Groups meet on Wednesday night at 6:30 following the dinner at 5:30 (learn more about Wednesday night dinners and classes for infants through teenagers and adults here). Even more adult groups and ministries meet at various times and places throughout the week.
