Opportunities to Get Involved

Opportunities to Get Involved

We appreciate all the continued prayers and support for our friends in Ukraine, Gabon, Africa; Navajo Hardrock Reservation in Arizona and other sites/organizations.

Membership classes will be offered beginning July 8. You may miss one of the four sessions and make it up on a different date. If you’d like to become a member at Faith Alliance, please let one of the pastors know, or call the church office.

There are area training sessions for Children Choosing Christ for anyone wanting to share the Gospel message with CCC at their county fair. This year’s theme is “Dinosaur Dig the Phenomenal Find!” This training is open to anyone who’d like to become better equipped to share the Gospel message. Contact Rhonda Hager for more information. 567-644-9953.

Volunteer for the kids church schedule (one month out of the year) and/or volunteer for the nursery, preschool and children on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. Contact Gina or Kristin (kristin@faith-alliance.org, or text/call at 419-905-5253). Thank you for considering!

Wednesday Night Live activities (beginning at 5:30 p.m. – returning this September) will need of volunteers for youth evening activities and children’s evening activities. If you are interested in being in a rotation or can commit to multiple Wednesday evenings, please contact Kristin Lampert.

The Moms 4 Real group needs three to four people to help with child care on the second Thursday of every month from 9:15-11:15AM. If you are interested, please contact Tina Barhorst at tmroessner@gmail.com or Maggie Hibner at magghibner@gmail.com. This group needs some people to sit and play with their kids while the mothers get to meet together to encourage and enjoy one another’s company. If you are not already you will need to be Safe Place certified. If you are not aware of the Safe Place Policy then they will fill you in. Thank you!

A new group in St. Mary’s will experiment with being a local “missional group” that is centered on outreach to our neighbors. These meetings will be at Cierra Otting’s house every other Thursday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. This group is open to anyone. Contact Cierra Otting or Josh Kalichman at josh@faith-alliance.org, or call the church office.

Donate your gently worn, used or new shoes to help the local YMCA raise funds for an organization collecting shoes so you can support micro-enterprise vendors. Micro-enterprises  small businesses in developing nations. They typically involve a one-person operation while some micro-enterprises represent a family business depending on size. So drop your donated shoes in the bin located in the foyer. Thank you!

Like basketball? Meet up at the youth center every Thursday from 7:30-9:00 p.m. to play. Must be in high school or older to participate. If you have any questions, please see Pastor James.

CramTheVanCram the Van!
