What is your role at FAC?
Lead Pastor. My primary responsibilities are preaching and teaching from scripture each week and to lead, equip, and mobilize the leadership of Faith Alliance church so that they can do the same for others in our church family.
How long have you been at FAC?
I started working with FAC in 2016 as the Family & Discipleship Pastor. In January 2017 I entered into the Lead Pastor role.
What do you love about being a part of the FAC family of faith?
I love: Getting to go to work and chase after Jesus with an amazing team of leaders. Having the opportunity to teach from God’s perfect word almost every week – the power and beauty of the Bible regularly amazes me. That we have a lot of children running around every Sunday morning. Our desire to love people from all nations. The heart our people have to lovingly share the gospel with people locally and globally. That the foyer is packed with conversation and people anticipating worship. Watching the people of our family of faith fall deeper in love with Jesus.
Tell us about your family and your interests outside of ministry.
On April 12, 2008 I married Stephanie. Today I love her more than ever, she’s an amazing woman. Together we have three children, a son, Harper, and two daughters, Honor and Jorie. We love country living, outdoor adventures, creative dinner conversation, and sharing a book or movie with the kids before bed.
What is your previous training, ministry, and mission experience?
I received my Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, KY. I volunteered three years in college with Young Life before working as a youth pastor for five years after college. I have been on short-term mission trips to Jamaica, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Mexico, and India.
