Meet the Team

Trent Fledderjohann

What is your role at FAC?

As our leadership teams corporately discern God's leading for Faith Alliance, my role is to provide organizational and spiritual oversight for those teams to keep our ministries unified and moving in the same direction. I also handle the majority of Sunday morning content planning & preaching.

How long have you been at FAC?

I started working with FAC in 2016 as the Family & Discipleship Pastor. In January 2017 I transitioned into the Lead Pastor role.

What do you love about being a part of the FAC family of faith?

Due to the spiritual and cultural climate of our society, intergenerational church involvement is harder than ever. Despite that reality, our church has been growing increasingly diverse in demographics while preserving a strong sense of unity and committedness to the eternal truths laid out in scripture. Theological unity with social diversity - I think that's a good expression of God's kingdom in the world and I love that it's a reality at FAC. I'm excited to see how God will use the environment of our faith family to bring about transformation in the lives of people who do not yet fully know Jesus or understand the Good News.

Tell us about your family and your interests outside of ministry.

On April 12, 2008 I made a great decision and married Stephanie, she's my best friend, a great mom, and a big source of support and encouragement. We both graduated from New Knoxville. Together we have four children: Harper, he loves to read action books & FoxTrot; Honor, who wants to be a teacher like her mom; Jorie, she loves baby dolls; and Victor, who loves dinosaurs. Other interests: time with family and friends, home projects, reading, being outside, traveling, trying to exercise, Bengals, Buckeyes & Reds, monster cookies, and grilling burgers.

What is your previous training, ministry, and mission experience?

I have a bachelor's degree in social work from Bowling Green and a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, KY. I volunteered for three years in college with Young Life and worked summers in urban ministry. After college I worked as a youth pastor for five years before taking a K-12 Guidance Counselor position for two years. I've served at FAC since 2016. I have been on short-term mission trips to Jamaica, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Mexico, Indonesia, Thailand, and India.
