Kristin Lampert

Ministry Coordinator

What is your role at FAC?

My role at FAC is to plan lessons, organize schedules and oversee the nursery and preschool department. My other roles as the Ministry Coordinator are to organize schedules for various ministries, plan and oversee events throughout the year, contact and facilitate care to those who are in need in our church family and community. Being able to care for the youngest to the oldest in our congregation is a great blessing to me!!

How long have you been at FAC?

I started attending FAC as a young girl with my family. I started working as the part-time Preschool Director in February of 2015. After graduating from college in the summer of 2016 I took on more hours and currently work 30 hours a week as the Ministry Coordinator.

What do you love about being a part of the FAC family of faith?

I love the warm, friendly conversations on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings. Throughout the week I get to work with an amazing team whose hearts are for the Lord. They spur me on and encourage me at the same time — I am so grateful for them! Something I think is wonderfully unique about FAC is we are a multigenerational church. It is easy to feel at home here!

Tell us about your family and your interests outside of ministry.

I’ve been married to my best friend, James, since October 2015. We are currently foster parents, a role that has brought forth joy and heartache all at the same time. In our spare time we love to sit and talk over coffee and enjoy hiking when we are able to get away. I absolutely love to go on long walks, bake all sorts of treats, and explore new coffee shops!

What is your previous training, ministry, and mission experience?

I have my associate’s degree in Graphic Design from Wright State University. I am able to use the information I learned at Wright State to create flyers and advertisements for events that come up throughout the year. In the past I have been on two missions trips to Gabon, Africa. The people in Gabon are so loving; it was a joy to get to serve them while I was there.
