Administrative Assistant

What is your role at FAC?

I’m the Administrative Assistant, and also the Assistant Treasurer.  I handle day-to-day functions of the office, manage the church calendar, and prepare the bulletin and newsletters. As Assistant Treasurer, I handle the weekly offering, write checks and run financial reports as needed, and assist in creating the upcoming year’s church budget.

How long have you been at FAC?

My family has been regularly attending FAC since May 2016.

What do you love about being a part of the FAC family of faith?

I love how this church family is focused on growth- growing as followers of Christ, growing in various missions, and growing the amount of people who are adopted into God’s family.  Now that I am on staff, I have also observed how  deeply  committed the staff members and leadership team are to the Word of God and loving others, which is very encouraging.

Tell us about your family and your interests outside of ministry

I have an awesome husband Jason, and two amazing daughters, Evelyn and Annabelle.  Jason and I are both avid runners and love to cycle, hike, and be outside.  I also love to sew and enjoy reading.

What is your previous training, ministry, and mission experience?

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a minor in Spanish from the University of Cincinnati.  I worked for several non-profits during college, including Santa Maria Community Services and the Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon before working in a professional development and leadership role after I graduated. I co-plan the Moms for REAL group here at FAC and I am passionate about being missional and intentional in our community through everyday life.
